Funnel Marketing

Do you care where you rank? No, you just want more leads.
One of the things that we look at when we help build a website for our clients is how we can go about boosting the amount of money that the website can generate. We offer a search engine optimization service, which of course is designed to get a site to the top of the search engines. However, we have discovered that most people do not care where they rank. They just want to make money as quickly as possible. This means they want to get leads. There is a great process that we use to boost leads. Say hello to ‘Funnel Marketing’
So, what is funnel marketing? It's a concept that has a tremendous amount of depth and nuance. The basics: think of funnel marketing as an "upside down" pyramid. At the top of the pyramid you have the people that visit your website. These people are the ones that you are going to be driving to the rest of your funnel. As you guide people through the funnel, perhaps by starting to collect email addresses, you will be developing relationships with them. They will feel more comfortable with you, and therefore be more inclined to purchase from you. There are some stages where the customer WILL drop out. This causes the funnel more pyramid like as it gets towards the bottom. This is a much more effective process than selling outright on your website. You will be able to generate a lot more leads if you guide people through this process slowly. Pretty much every marketing company, whether online or offline, will use funnel marketing to some extent. It's very effective.
The great thing is that funnel marketing can work no matter where you are in the search engines. Sure, you will want to get in the search engines, which will drive plenty of leads, but there are other places you can pick up targeted customers. For example, you may want to be active in a forum related to your niche, or even engage in social media marketing. It is much quicker than ranking in the search engines. If you have a decent marketing funnel in place then you will be able to start to make money fast!
If you want funnel marketing to be effective then you are going to need to have some knowledge of how it works. You are going to want to know the best way to build up the trust of a customer. Remember, once they have completed the ‘funnel’ (i.e. purchased a product that you want them to use), you can then filter them off into a different funnel and make more sales. In fact, if somebody doesn’t purchase from your funnel then you can filter them off into something else to try and make money. If you can get the leads, and it doesn’t matter where they come from, you can make money through this method.
