The Carolinas Golf Association is a not-for-profit educational organization that was founded in 1909 to promote and to protect the game of golf in the Carolinas by providing competitions, education, support, and benefits to golfers. The CGA is a group of member clubs, not individuals. Individuals seeking membership in the CGA must join a CGA member club. The CGA membership is composed of clubs representing every golf demographic including private, semi-private, public, municipal, military, and resort. The CGA is the second largest gold association in the country with 685 member clubs represented by over 150,000 individuals. With its rich legacy, championship traditions, and commitment to the future of the game, the CGA has been a steward of golf in the Carolinas for over one hundred years!
